Personal Bio-data:

Saad Admani is the Managing Director of Moonstar Admani Rose / Arabian Jasmine Gardens and leads Indus Valley Rose Sustainability Project.

My family has been associated with flowers for more than four decades, our grandfather started off as a collector of wild botanicals. The passion continues in our family to date.

With time we moved towards cultivation, reviving the long lost tradition of growing Indus Valley Rosa Centifolia. Growing these in our village at our Moonstar Admani Rose Gardens to meet the demands of the domestic floral market.

As a child I played and worked part time on the farm, after school, helping my grandfather in rose pruning and weeding.

I spent four years away from my village to attain education in the field of economics & political science as per my grandfather’s wish. Living in a metropolitan city was an eye opener for me; There is immense pollution and toxic chemicals everywhere around us, i.e, the air we breath, the products we use, etc.

This made me realise how important it was to protect our family garden heritage to preserve our health & the planet. Came the realisation of reconnecting with nature for the well-being of the local community.

Hence, returned back to the village to devote my time & energy in ethically growing roses with the intention to attain maximum levels of sustainability. It is important for us to discern the healthy path in our section of both foods and aromatic products.

Moonstar Admani Rose/ Arabian Jasmine Gardens & INDUS VALLEY ROSE SUSTAINABILITY PROJECT (IVRSP).

Along the River Indus, in the heart of the Indus Valley, the Moonstar Admani Rose/ Arabian Jasmine Garden creates magic. There in sweat & poetry grows the ‘Queen Of Roses- Indus Valley Rosa Centifolia’.

The Indus Valley Rose Sustainability Project (IVRSP) aims to conserve & promote the organic rose heritage of the Indus Valley, by preserving the overwhelming scent of the intensely perfumed fresh Indus Valley Roses for the well being of the community.

The main aim of the IVRSP Project is to ethically revive the rose growing practices in the region, keeping alive centuries-old skills connected to the ancient cultures of the Indus Valley. As close to nature as possible. Providing jobs to local communities.

An important initiative is the IVRSP GIRLS EDUCATION PROGRAM – ONE GIRL ONE NATION; investing time, energy and resources to promote girls’ education in the region.

Moonstar Admani Group offers an Indus Valley Study Tour, where rose lovers can experience roses and learn about the region.
