Ayvalik, Turkey
Emine Boyner was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey, and has been living and working as an artist, craftswoman, and herbalist in Ayvalik on the Aegean coast since 2012. She runs a small herbal and creative business on the charming island of Cunda, where she crafts herbal blends, herbal beauty products, pottery, and artworks created with locally sourced herbal inks.
Emine is passionate about sharing her extensive knowledge of folk herbalism. She teaches courses and leads herb walks that integrate an eco-somatic approach, guiding participants to ground themselves in their bodies and reconnect with their true nature through the wisdom of plants, trees, and the elements. As a certified yin and hath yoga teacher, she skillfully combines various healing modalities into her herbal workshops, encouraging practitioners to reignite their bond with the indigenous spirit of the land.
Her dedication to cultivating a love for herbs and natural healing continues to inspire many, and she looks forward to the opportunity to contribute her expertise at the International Herb Symposium.
