Julia Graves is a master herbalist, classical homoeopath, Gestlat psychotherapist and flower essence creator. Known for her lively and clear teaching style, she was raised in Germany by an herbalist mother and orthopaedic surgeon father. Julia studied herbalism, anthroposophic massage and healing as well as cupping as a teenager. She then studied medicine at Kiel university for four years. She wrote her doctoral thesis on her ethno-medical field research on traditional midwives and healers in a remote area of Zimbabwe. While working for Findhorn Flower Essences in their early days, she trained as a flower essence practitioner as well as a flower essence creator. Julia has since developed her own line of flower essences, the Lily Circle, as well as other kits. In 2010, she founded a naturopathic clinic for the impoverished in Haiti in response to the devastating earthquake, and has headed the clinic in its missions that has since offered free treatment to 90 000 people. Julia is an acclaimed international lecture. She is the author of The Language of Plants, a detailed guide to the doctrine of signatures, which has received an enthused response in the herbal scene since its publication in 2012, as well as of other books. She brings 36 years of clinical experience to her teaching.
