Shaaranya Geetanjali Chakraborty is Dean of Ayurveda Studies at Vedika Global, a lineage-based Ayurveda school based in Emeryville, CA. She is a direct student of Vedika Global founder Acharya Shunya. She runs Vedika Global's Ayurveda education programs including Vedika Global's signature Awakening Health one year self-healing immersion course. As Chief Ayurveda Consultant for Vedika Global's donation-based public clinic at the India Community Center, she has iterated on a model of philanthropic healthcare with her team that has now served over 300 clients. Her clinic’s approach is entirely based on diet and lifestyle and takes the perspective of food as medicine. Shaaranya regularly teaches “The Ayurveda Algorithm,” an experiential workshop at Stanford University in the School of Medicine’s Health Improvement Program.
