Deb Soule is an herbalist, biodynamic gardener, teacher, and writer living in rural Maine. In 1985, Soule founded Avena Botanicals Herbal Apothecary (www.avenabotanicals.com), inspired by her faith in the healing qualities of plants, her love of gardening, and her wish to make herbs accessible to women living in rural areas. She is the author of "The Healing Garden", "Healing Herbs for Women", and "How to Move Like a Gardener".
