Ben has been practicing and studying Western and East Asian herbal medicine since the early 90s and has been licensed to practice acupuncture since 2003. Ben is the co-founder, along with his wife Ingrid Bauer, of Five Flavors Herbs, an herbal extract company that sells a dynamic range of products to consumers and practitioners, contract manufactures, and offers herbal pharmacy services in California. Ben lives in Nevada City, CA. where his family maintains a small farm and enjoys continuing to study wild places and plants. He can often be found cooking or playing music.
