Betzy is a co-founder and core faculty at the Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism in Plainfield VT, where she’s also a practitioner and student clinic mentor. Her long fascination with digestion and nutrition has led her to delve into the new science emerging about microbiome and host relationships. With 3 decades of teaching experience, Betzy is good at making complex subjects accessible, giving students a practical understanding of both physiology and herbal and nutritional strategies for healing. She’s also an Advisory Board member for United Plant Savers, and is happiest in her kitchen, garden or the forest.
