The Serpentine Path of an Indigenous Healer’s Family in Mexico (Audio)

About Course
The following audio presentation was recorded live at the 13th International Herb Symposium, June 2017.
For 22 years, Kat has worked with an indigenous Mazatec curandero and his extended family, in rural Southern Mexico. His tradition and shamanic skills invoke psilocybin mushroom species, Salvia divinorum, home-grown tobacco saints, and other powerful elemental spirits. Kat has participated in these ceremonies while chronicling the evolution and scattering of this mostly female clan into a changing world. With her characteristic stories, Kat will share insights she has gathered into healing with plants, mushrooms and prayer, adapting to that which seems beyond our control, and respecting traditions as they evolve into the future.
Please note that all courses and lessons from the 13th International Herb Symposium are audio only. Transcriptions are unavailable at this time.
