Deepening Plant Knowledge Through Illustration

This class combines drawing, observing plants and discussing their medicinal uses. Participants will learn how to gain knowledge about a plant through sight, smell, taste and touch. They will also learn to develop a drawing technique which will allow them to draw plants with fairly good accuracy without any prior drawing skills, no experience is necessary. You will need a sketch book and a pen or pencil and some plants to draw. For this class, I will be working with violet, plantain, and dandelion.
