Join wild edibles enthusiast Russ Cohen, author of the book Wild Plants I Have Known\u2026and Eaten, on a two-hour ramble around an Eastern Massachusetts organic farm or two to learn the comestible qualities of at least two dozen species of wild plants. Plants expected to be encountered on the walk will be a mix of native species, the harvesting from which may need to be restrained and careful to avoid adverse ecological impacts, to non-native weeds and invasive species, which offer more relaxed foraging opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Keys to the identification of each species will be provided, along with info on edible portion(s), season(s) of availability, and preparation methods, as well as guidelines for safe and environmentally responsible foraging.
