In this talk we will address the provenance of various dandelion species. Beyond that we will cover a multitude of applications of dandelions by people, including for food, medicine, and beauty. The concept of turning what some consider a problem into a beneficial component of sustainable systems will help form the discussion about these plants and the exploration of the concept of exotic invasive species in general.
