Schedule Changes will be noted in the Schedule Addendum given to Participants at registration. Participants also receive as part of their registration a Symposium Proceedings Book that contains class notes (notes for Intensive will be given during class). Tree Farm Communications will be
professionally recording most of the lectures and audio tapes & CD’s will be available for sale during the Symposium.
- Workshops are designated for beginner (Begin) and Intermediate/Advanced (Int/Adv). If not specified, it’s generally considered
appropriate for all levels. These are general classifications and are meant to serve as guidelines only. You are
welcome to attend any workshop that appeals to you regardless of your level of knowledge or expertise.
- Please be on time for workshops you are attending and, if not attending, be courteous of those in progress. If you plan to
leave a workshop early, please sit towards the back so as not to disturb the rest of the class. Thank You.
- Herb Walks meet rain or Shine. Meet in the Dimple. If raining, just wear rain gear and enjoy!
- Meals are served in Chase Dinning Hall; be sure to bring your Meal Ticket with you!!

We’ve arranged a full schedule of workshops for the weekend, but please don’t feel you have to do everything! There
is as much learning in a quiet stroll through the woods, the hug of a tree, an intimate conversation with friends. Allow
yourself the privilege to enjoy not only the full spectrum of activities, but the beauty of the surrounding Earth.
- Massage and facials are being offered throughout the weekend for your enjoyment. For a massage, sign up at the IHS
Information Booth. Facials are available free at “Relaxation Oasis,” located next to the Exhibit Hall, BH.
- Herbal Art Exhibit. Be sure to visit the beautiful art display arranged by Katherine Yvinskas in the lounge in BH. Artwork
by prominent botanical artists are on display and are available for sale.
- The Exhibit Hall is open from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM in BH Dance Studio. This is an excellent opportunity to buy books from
authors and to purchase herbal products from the people who make them. Meet the authors/artists Friday (See Schedule).
- Name Tags: You are required to wear your name tag throughout the weekend. This assists all of us in getting to
know one another and is the only way we have of knowing who is registered. If you are not wearing your name tag, you
will be asked to identify yourself as a registrant of the Symposium.
- Your name tag is also your meal ticket.
- The International Herbal Products Contest. The categories for the contest are: A) Purely Medicinal – Tinctures &
Extracts; B) Salves, Medicinal Oils & Ointments; C) Simply Delicious; elixirs & tonics D) Lotions & Creams; E) Botanica
Erotica; F) Anything Goes – Most Original Herbal Products. Join in the Fun! Enter one or more of your hand made
products and win any one of a number of wonderful prizes. All symposium participants are invited to join in. Bring the best
of the best of your herbal product (s). All products must be labeled with ingredients. Include your name on the bottom of
the container. Prizes awarded.
